THE STORY BEHIND VIORIA

Why I Built VIORIA

Sometimes one part of your life changes before the rest of you has had time to catch up

That was what surprised me most about my own GLP-1 experience.

My appetite changed. The food noise became quieter.

And in that quiet, I started noticing everything else that had been wrapped around food for years.

Habits. Comfort. Stress. Reward. Identity.

VIORIA began in that space.

The medication changed one part of the system

And that change created room to see the rest of it more clearly.

Like the way food had become connected to certain moments.

A hard day

A celebration

A reward

Something to look forward to

A way to soften what felt heavy

None of that meant the medication wasn't working.

It meant there was more happening underneath the surface.

And I kept coming back to one question

What happens when your appetite changes faster than the patterns built around it?

That question became the beginning of VIORIA.

Not because I thought people needed more rules.

Because I wondered what could happen if they had a place to understand those patterns differently.

I've always looked for the pattern underneath the outcome

My background is in chemical engineering and systems leadership.

I've spent much of my career looking at complex systems, understanding what influences an outcome, and asking what has to shift for change to actually hold.

Behavior felt surprisingly similar.

What we do is rarely shaped by one thing alone.

It can be influenced by stress, environment, emotion, repetition, memory, identity, and what has become familiar over time.

And knowing what you want to do doesn't always make those influences disappear.

That curiosity led me deeper into behavior change and eventually into hypnotherapy.

Because sometimes change isn't about learning something new.

Sometimes it's about experiencing something familiar in a new way

VIORIA uses reflection, guided hypnotherapy, behavior-change principles, nervous-system practices, and real-life repetition to help create more space around automatic patterns.

Not to force a different response.

To make another response feel more available.

Notice. Understand. Practice. Repeat.

Why I See Change Differently

I've always been interested in why people do what they do and why the systems they've built either work or epically fail.

Even in my career in chemical engineering and systems leadership, I was drawn to understanding what made a system flow more easily and what created friction.

Eventually, I started seeing the same thing in human behavior.

We all have routines, cues, beliefs, and patterns that shape what we do, often before we consciously think about it. That curiosity led me deeper into behavior change and eventually to become a certified hypnotherapist, so I could better understand how to create change beyond simply knowing what we "should" do.

Then I started my own GLP-1 journey.

My appetite changed. The food noise got quieter. But the habits, emotions, coping patterns, and identity built around food were still there.

That's when it clicked:

the biology had changed faster than the rest of the the system

VIORIA grew from that realization. Bringing together behavior change, hypnotherapy, reflection, and real-life practice to help people work with the patterns that remain when appetite changes first.

What VIORIA is here to do

I didn't build VIORIA to tell you who to become.

I built it to give you a place to notice what may already be changing.

To understand the patterns that still feel familiar.

To explore what food may have been doing for you beyond hunger.

And to practice new ways of responding without turning the process into another test you have to pass.

Because meaningful change doesn't always arrive as one dramatic breakthrough.

Sometimes it looks like:

a little more space

a little more choice

a little more trust in yourself

And then one day, something that once felt automatic feels a little less automatic.

VIORIA is a behavioral wellness platform. It does not diagnose, prescribe, manage medication, or replace medical or mental-health care.

You don't need to know exactly what needs to change

Sometimes the first step is simply noticing what's already there.
